Review on ๐ŸŽ’ Durable Waterproof Backpack Case Bag for DJI Phantom 3/4 and Phantom 4Pro Drones - Perfect for Travel by Naomi Johnson

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Good protection with a few exceptions

I bought this case for my Phantom 3 Standard so I can take it on the plane. It will absolutely get the job done in any full-size passenger airliner, but regional jets can be a problem. It's about 10 inches thick and chewy. American Airlines specs say 9 inches overhead and under the seat. I haven't had a chance to try flying yet. If checked at the gate I would have to remove the batteries and keep them with me and I'm sure the movers will ruin the finish, at least from the outside. Everything seems to fit inside. The strap keeps the drone securely in place and the neckline fits well. However, the remote control is a bit loose and the antenna is under pressure when the case is closed. That's why I don't give 5 stars. Haven't taken it on a hike yet so can't comment on how the straps are holding up. At first glance they don't seem that strong if you look at the attachment points but honestly the way they are made you can't really see how they attach. No issues with the absorber as others have mentioned. I wouldn't submerge the case in water but it will definitely protect against rain.
