When I first got it I was in love! The outer gray wool is so soft and comfy! And as a coat for a boy it's absolutely adorable - a good coat for church and going to grandma's. Not for outdoor play. The seams are just fantastic - from the outside. The pockets are also soft and lined with the same gray wool. The buttons match the style perfectly, the zipper is also of excellent quality. And here is the inside. We all have problems here. I asked my son to try it on (it fits true to size btw). He hated it from the first moment. He said it was too itchy. Then I looked. The lining material is another checked wool fabric. And it itches! It's not as soft as the outer gray. And to make matters worse, the stitching or finishes on the inside are terrible. The armholes are just swollen and not finished smoothly. If my son were already wearing long sleeves, he might not even notice the inner material. Because the outer gray wool also adorns the lining around the zipper. But now that he's tried it on with short sleeves, I don't think I can easily persuade him to try it on again with long sleeves. I'll try, winter is coming. Because it's adorable! This is a really great coat on the outside. It is a pity that the manufacturer opted for an inferior lining material and shortened it with decorative strips.
