I've ridden a few Sauconys before and know what size I am, but they're a bit larger than other Sauconys I've owned. I bought size 11 and it looks like 11.5. It's still not a bad shoe, especially for the $35 I paid, but it's a little disappointing. I pick them up for a long day of hiking/jogging, which I enjoy when my feet are a little swollen from daily traffic. But I wouldn't want to use them in racing because there's too much space and I feel a bit unsafe on technical terrain. Saucony improved the toe box by widening it a bit while keeping the heel in place and this shoe reflects that. Again, the only problem is that it seems overall too big. The grip is sufficient, not outstanding, but not bad. I don't think I'll be comfortable in these shoes on very difficult terrain at high speeds. I don't think they are really designed for that. But for long, slow days, they seem to do the trick. I'm writing this after walking in these shoes for just a few hours so I can't comment on their durability. But based on my experience with other Saucony running shoes, I'm sure they will be just as durable as other running shoes.
