Not bad, could be better
They're long enough for a decent grill, but you'll still burn yourself if you don't use a liner, mittens or something else to protect yourself. They're hot enough for most things like soft meats and veggies. There are sometimes difficulties piercing the flesh, but generally they're pretty good. It would be nice if they were longer. I think a 24" will do better but these are acceptable. Would buy again but if there was a 24" I would buy a 24".
