I had brown leather couches and got a cat. So I ordered these to protect the couches. These were ordered based on umpteen positive reviews. First I ordered the natural color. It was very light and to me showed lumps and bumps in the couches, as well as I felt the brown kind of showed through. I then ordered taupe because the sand was sold out in the large. The taupe works, but I feel it has a lot of grey undertones, so really I feel it is more greige….that is really my main reason for 4 stars. Also the cushion covers needed to be a smidge bigger, but overall i feel like it works. My cat definitely approves. I am uncertain about long term with kitty claws, but I do know the natural was a fur collector so that is another reason for four stars. However, it is very soft and very easy to put on. Just line up the Tab on each side that says back for the couch and pull them down to the back corners and for the cushions put the side with the line on the cushions in the front and you will find it good proof. My couch has Velcro to keep cushions from sliding out and that was covered up with the cover but that should not be a terrible issue. I do feel like my couch looks completely different and if I need to wash them I can. Definitely glad I ordered them now I just hope they last and protect my couches.
