I bought these because I wasn't sure if they were from Chacate Preto or not. I wanted the dark wood look. When I bought the Chacate Preto Pocket Comb I was able to compare and see the differences. They have a typical scent of sandalwood. Since someone else broke one of their combs from a fall, and I've seen that even the green sandalwood combs have similar issues, I'm wondering if the Checate Preto would be a more durable choice. I can't even imagine a pair of Checate Preto in Fine and Comb Style Wide. You have to try the core.
