Perfect, nothing beats happier

I've been looking for a good basic turtleneck for so long I almost gave up and started contemplating getting a machine and learning to sew. One of my sons started teasing me that the internet had decided that people in Los Angeles didn't need turtlenecks and that everyone else could easily buy them. Not me. I'm so excited to have found it, I've already ordered it in burgundy and a second one in black. I'm 5'10, wear a 36y bra and weigh about 20-30lbs more than I would like. Ideally I should weigh 170. I can't count. will not. Or maybe I just can't see beyond my own chest and read the scale. I have a similar XL spanks top that can be worn but is too tight and skinny in the bust making it very see through there but not as see through elsewhere so I can only wear this top as a base layer or tank top . THIS MD Slimming Turtleneck in L is thick enough and fits so well that I can wear it alone as a top. Without bra. I'm not joking. While it's not compression clothing and it's not at all so tight that it's uncomfortable, it's somehow really very comfortable and at the same time easy to put on and take off. It stretches without becoming transparent, I've tried to capture what I'm talking about photographically. The fabric is very soft, the cut is so comfortable that I can sleep in it, the turtleneck is a real turtleneck (!), when it's unfolded it can cover my nose. when it suffocates. and when I wear the sleeves open, they are long enough to cover my arms almost to my fingertips. The hem sits on the hips, doesn't roll or ride up. I've never heard of MD Slimming so this is the first item I've bought from them, although it qualifies as shapewear I don't find it restrictive and don't consider it underwear. I don't think it draws in my tummy or alters my bust size, but I would say it flatters the silhouette and provides some support, perhaps similar to athletic tank tops or swimwear with built-in wireless connectivity. an underwired bra, even though he doesn't actually have an underwired bra. I understand that most women with my breast size rarely feel comfortable without a bra without going into detail, I have a serious injury on my right hand and on bad days I can't close my bra. I'm comfortable in this braless black top, it's supportive but not tight, it's not see-through and unless I'm very cold I don't feel shy at all. And when it's cold enough to be noticeable I wear it with other layers, I've already worn it both under and over a pair of my favorite summer maxi sundresses with winter tights and I'm warm enough to flip sundresses in the whole year. Dresses. I really wish this turtleneck was available in a wider range of colors and plan to contact the seller to see if it is short sleeved or sleeveless. If not then it really should be, it really is one of those perfect staples no wardrobe is complete without.
