I ordered this set in a size 3T for my 3 year old son who is 31.5lbs and is of average height. I often have trouble with his pants being too wide at the waist, but not with this one. The waistband has an elastic band and working laces and sits very well on it. There are also belt loops so you can also wear a belt. Pants have a wide fit at the hips. There is a fake fly, two front pockets (one with a coin pocket), two back pockets and metal rivets, making these zip pants look like men's jeans or as my son says, big boy pants. have a slightly pointed cut. They fit my son well but there is room to grow According to the tags the composition of the fabric is 80% cotton, 19% polyester, 1% elastane. The material is stretchy and soft for denim. The seams are strong and even. I washed them in warm water and used a low temperature drying cycle and they came out great. No shrinking or other problems. I am very satisfied with these well-made and comfortable trousers and can only recommend them.
