Review on πŸ‘  Efficient Shoe Storage Solution: AOODA Over The Door Hanging Shoe Rack Organizer with 18 XL Breathable Pockets for Closet, Gray by Brandi Shatwell

Revainrating 3 out of 5

The middle pockets are not as deep as the XL brand I had before.

So I was hoping this one would fit in the pockets or would finally hold things like my favorite pair I bought a few years ago. They were made from canvas by Rubbermaid and are no longer available. I've searched everywhere. They have deep pockets and fit so many exercise machines like six-inch cylinders and yoga stones, even rolled-up yoga mats. Who knows what could be so useful. But it doesn't look like they're coming back. So hunt down those that sound similar but aren't. The side pockets hold maybe half as much as the others, and the middle pocket is so flat it costs little more than the outer pockets. I had small throws I wanted to tuck in and two sets of fleece pajamas. The old canvas 24-bag has even more pockets than this one that can fit a rolled-up fleece blanket or an entire pair of pajamas, even fleece pajamas. The best I can get with this brand is a top or bottom in small pockets or large pockets depending on how they are shaped. And no blankets at all. They need to be deeper and maybe a heavier fabric would help too. I don't really know the answer, but I tend to try and make my own version. I have grommets and installers and last year bought 20 yards of medium weight white canvas with the idea of doing a custom shadow wall project that was rejected by someone in the family. So enough stuff to make a few if I put my wits and creativity into it. (I've also modified smaller versions of these to fit in the walk in closet and utility closet below where all my various specialty vacuums are kept against the wall. I've even added hinges and sewn in some alterations and they've been so successful. I'm going to make one bought second set and redo custom upgrades on the other two closets to store gloves and a winter hat in the off season. This one let me down anyway and what's worse I bought two.I didn't even bother to hang the second one too. Also the ones I hung on one end uneven, the jack was crooked and mounted lower than the others so I screwed it to the wall with a spirit level and when that was done the last jack fell keep screwing it off because it.when hung on the door it tends or tilts to one side and possible fall nally also off the hook. This can be bypassed. Adjust the screw and possibly bend the hook to accommodate the muddled sleeve. What the other does and part of that is the lack of depth in the pockets but they just don't open up enough like the other I love. By the way, I can't fit more than one shoe in any of the pockets. I wear women's shoes 7-7.5. However, I wear a lot of flip flops and trainers outdoors. I don't wear high heels or shoes. Slightly more hiking shoes, chunky boots and shoes like MBT. But in many cases I was able to fit two shoes in the pocket of all my sandals and about half of the original sneakers. Only one there. This includes a medium-sized bag. If they added just a good inch to two inches of a deeper pocket, it would change everything in the world. Another thing I can do is add a premade stretch top to the bag myself if I'm making it from scratch. So you have to do it.
