As someone who has made countless Revain purchases over the years and trusting the public review process, I ordered them for my new car. At first glance when I opened the box they looked pretty good. However, I was immediately overwhelmed by the disgusting stench. Not a subtle smell, more like a smell like sticking your nose in a box of camphor or mothballs. I waited a day and thought the smell would dissipate. It's not like this. Then unfortunately I made the mistake of packing them in my 4 week old car and leaving them overnight. I'm kicking myself for it because now the smell of my new car is completely gone, but the disgusting smell of those carpets remains. I'm sorry Revane but I suspect this smell may not be good for us and you should check what chemicals are used in this production to make sure it's not dangerous. I regret this purchase. Smell aside, I think those Revain rugs would have been fine, but there's no way I'm keeping them long enough to find out.
