I used to use whitening strips but found that they irritated my gums. I have crowns on my molars. The color on the crowns is whiter than my normal teeth and I wanted to lighten them to a closer shade. I decided to try these pens. So glad I did. Easy to use. Simply twist the end and the gel will transfer to the brush. At first I used too much. The more the better? It doesn't dry as advertised. Then I started with a thin layer to allow the gel to dry. Much better. I've been using it three times a week for about a month now. It looks like my normal teeth are getting whiter. Sorry I didn't take a picture beforehand. I will continue to use it as I feel it will take longer to remove stains from coffee, wine and tea.
