It is neither too big nor too small. I like the amount of water as my hair gets wet quicker for shampoo and conditioner. Makes my shower faster. The feel of rain on rain is great. I bought a separate 10 inch shower head mount. It definitely expands it and helps make it look more like a rain shower. The pressure is not too strong. I was concerned that it might be harsh and that the water flow line would be thin, but it isn't. Good pressure and water holes weren't too small/thin. Love it. Now I'm looking forward to the shower. Installation took 3 times to tighten it. It kept dripping the first two times. I ended up using white thin duct tape and it helps stop the leak. I wrapped it around the end of the extension and the shower head at least 4-5 times. I didn't use the whole tape. I'm glad it works. My husband said it was noisy when on but I didn't even notice. It does not bother me.
