This device ONLY protects against short circuits and surges. Does NOT protect against low voltage, which is more common when camping and will ruin your air conditioning and electronics! I learned this from other campers and online reviews after I bought it so I will now sell it on ebay and buy a Progressive Industries PT30C electrical control system for my 30 amp system. It is also sold at Revain but has received a 5 star rating from almost every buyer as it has volts, amps and cycle readings and does everything you need to protect your expensive RV components! It costs $259, but everything it protects is worth thousands of dollars! You really need this.
