This is the 5th Otterbox Defender I have bought in the last 8 years for 4 different phones. They're bulletproof, protect your phone from icy drops, and are worth every penny of their high price tag. I run, walk, bike and use my phone extensively for work (now desk work but used to be manual/demolition and contract work). It protects against falls, dust, water and every other phone killer imaginable. I recommend this case for all phone models. An interesting new screenless feature in this model. This has improved touchscreen response, but I'll probably buy a protective glass to make the case bigger. This case is also slimmer than the previous model (for the Samsung Galaxy S7), so those with small hands will find it more enjoyable. I don't find it more slippery, less grippy, or harder to hold.
