This thing works! It was a bit tricky and difficult to remove the ingredients, especially the hair. You have to twist and pull to remove and then install and twist back to lock again. By rotating the dark blue portion of the dress the month markers are embossed onto the plastic and you simply roll them up to the current month. It is recommended to change the baking soda monthly, but this also depends on the odor burden you are dealing with.
