tool. So far I've only used the smooth side to smooth boneless chicken breasts so I can easily split them in half. For this purpose it works great. The breasts are already tender, so I didn't notice any increase in meat tenderness. A long time ago I could find 8 ounce packs. Breast; today they are much larger, 10 oz. and higher (I believe due to growth hormone use). So now I'm going to buy the largest boobs available and plan on cutting them in half. So why the 5 star rating? This tool is solidly built to last a lifetime.
