I used it for my son in the fall before the weather got cold enough for a winter jacket. It fits better in the car seat and protects it from overheating more easily. Lightning doesn't get stuck in the material and he doesn't wriggle in it at all, so I think he likes that. They make pants to match and the whole outfit is amazing! The hood is a bit small for his big head so we use a beanie instead. No protection from rain, but nice even when there is a cool breeze. We used a lot of it before it got too big. I've washed it so many times and it just keeps getting softer. The wrists are gathered so that his arms are not swallowed up by the sleeves. I would have liked the hood to be bigger, but otherwise everything is fine and I'm very happy with it.
