During the installation process, the disk in question was not found. The issue, however, is not a major one; Robert M. provided the solution, which is to download the driver from the HP website; many thanks are due to him. Use an archiver to extract the contents of this.exe file, and then place those files in a folder of their own on the installation USB flash drive. At some point during the installation process, while the disk is being detected, there will be a button available to load the driver. Once the driver has been loaded, the disk will become visible for use. After installing Windows, I encountered yet another challenge, as the previous version of Win10 did not recognize the WiFi card, and the mesh network did not function properly. The USB WiFi adaptor was able to circumvent this limitation. Following the appearance of a grid, we installed windows ates (the most recent version of the operating system is required for optimal performance) and drivers provided by HP. After completing all of the ates, everything was successful.
