The cable itself works fine, but you have to install an archaic uninstallable program to transfer files, rendering the cable completely unusable. I have a Nikon D3300. I had to buy an SD to USB adapter to be able to transfer files to my MacBook Pro which doesn't have an SD slot. Not a big deal considering it's not that much money. But for me this is a big disappointment and a waste of time.
