First review after 1 day of use (Note: I bought it on sale for $45.59 which was around $1 from mid-October to mid-November. Don't know how often it's on sale) The first thing you'll notice when you get it is how clean it looks. It looks really great and if you want a clean look then this is a good choice. The second thing you'll notice is how heavy it is. I don't have a scale to weigh it, but I would believe it weighs a whopping 2 pounds (listed weight is 1.74 pounds). This might make it a little less portable than we'd like, but it also makes it more durable. In comparison, the 60% version of this keyboard weighs 1.6 pounds, while the Anne Pro 2 (60%) weighs 1.4 pounds and the wireless Dierya DK63 (60%) weighs 1.54 pounds. They have no reference point for other brown switches. I will say that, tactile sensations are less than I expected. The sound is relatively muted, but when you press a key firmly you hear some reverberation from the body with a *catchy* sound that isn't pleasant. You have to press harder than I do, at least when typing normally. Some keys sound a little different than others (I don't have good enough recording settings to make them crisp, unfortunately), which is noticeable when you press them in succession, but not when you type or type. games. If you're migrating from a non-mechanical keyboard, the keys will still sound a bit noisy and you're likely to make a few typos, but brown keys like these make the switch to mechanical keyboards easier. The connection works fine, there are no problems with the connection. via Bluetooth or with the included detachable USB-C to USB-A cable. The cable itself is pretty good and I'm glad it came with it as it costs $5-10 on its own. I like the 65% keyboard theme since I use the "Delete" key fairly regularly, and I like the special up/down/left/right arrows. It's hard to find another 65% efficient keyboard in this price range. All key functions are printed on the top of the keys, not on the sides. This makes the row of numbers a bit confusing, but I find it much simpler than the function keys and Bluetooth connectivity options printed on the side of the keys. For consistency, they've placed all toggle functions to the right of the main function, which I don't like, but it's a compromise I'm happy to make. However, this keyboard has several disadvantages. As far as I can tell, there's no way to test battery life on them. This functionality is not listed anywhere in the user manual. I plan on charging it every night before I go to bed so it shouldn't be a problem, but it would be nice to know, ESPECIALLY for travel. The only place this feature is in the software, but downloading the software doesn't work for me. Despite a problem-free USB connection to my laptop, the software loader does not recognize the connected device. The laptop is 100% plug and play on my Dell XPS (running Windows 10). The function keys don't do what they say and I can't fix it without software. That means I still have to reach for my laptop keyboard to adjust the volume or screen brightness. Finally, the wrist angle that forces me to use the keyboard becomes uncomfortable after an hour or more. I am planning to buy a wrist rest for this device but it is difficult to find one that fits 65% of the keyboard. This is one of the downsides of the non-standard keyboard size. Overall I like this keyboard. It looks great, the brown switches are much more comfortable to type on than even a high end laptop keyboard like the Dell XPS, and it's sold at a great price (I bought mine on sale for $45.59). I have small complaints but nothing prevents me from recommending this device.
