Review on Wireshark by Ben Boulanger

It can be used to view all traffic that passes through your computer, which makes it great for debugging applications or just general curiosity! There are many other tools out there like this but I have found them lacking in some areas compared with wireshak (and also more expensive). The interface isn't as user friendly when you're new at using software of any kind so give yourself time if needed - don;t expect too much from someone who has never done anything before!! But once they get over their initial fear/fascination factor then its not such an issue anymore :) As mentioned above we use wirshack quite extensively within our team here @workday where i'm responsible mainly for monitoring website performance etc via logs generated by different sites hosted across multiple servers / environments.
