Bought a used Chevy Impala LTV that had no trailers. This is a high-end model that not only has remote entry but also remote start. The dealer wanted to charge $130 for the remote and programming, so I figured it would be a good way to save money. But not only could I not program the remote control, I could not remove the module from the port (I could not disengage the latch). I ended up taking it to the dealer and they were able to remove the module, program the remote and do it for whatever reason for $45. So it still cost us almost the original retailer cost, but I'm glad we made the purchase.
