damages the wick; will not cut
First, there is a strange "click" sound when the trimmer opens and closes. I tried trimming the candle wick but the wick slipped out which means the trimmer isn't sharp enough. I held the wick with my finger and tried to trim the wick which resulted in the wick wearing out and not making a clean cut. The cut I made seems to be wearing down the trimmer's black matte finish. This is a terrible product and I would not recommend it.
