I have a multi-probe thermometer that I use for roasting large cuts of meat (love it) but I don't like pulling it out to check small cuts "Quick use ". Bought based on reviews and not disappointed at all. The device turns on when you turn the probe away from your body. After insertion, it immediately displays the temperature. You don't have to wait for it to "rise" to the temperature. Temperature; You will know within seconds. The hold button keeps the temperature on the screen after the probe is removed. Works great. I double and triple checked the readings and compared the temp to another (much more expensive) set. It's available! Once you're done, twist the probe back onto your body and it turns off! The numbers are easy to read, the display is backlit. They even put in an extra battery (CR2032). Very happy with this purchase.
