Bought for my husband who usually wears a very large size which was perfect. Three members of my family who wear a medium size have worn medium well. One of my sons needed a 14/16 so I bought a very small pair of women's pants that fit perfectly. The only difference between it and children's pajamas is that women's pajamas have pockets. My youngest son wears the youth size 10/12 which I bought and they fit well too.
