EXACTLY what my little "daughter" needed after surgery. We bought an air collar, it did not help. We got a sheer pubic cone and it was so uncomfortable for her that we wanted to try these post op pajamas as she likes to wear her hoodies and sweatshirts in the winter. SO VERY HAPPY we got this! She is so comfortable now. He doesn't follow himself, he sleeps better too! I'm surprised vets don't recommend them more than collars. Of course they are more expensive BUT they protect the surgical areas very well with a small terry cloth cover that you can easily roll up when you need to go potty. Then click again when they are in the house. My only regret is that I didn't have the short sleeve option. My sheltie is wide but obviously not as tall as a border collie etc. But no problem, we just roll up her sleeves and she's ready to go. I would recommend taking two. Because? Just to be able to change it when it gets dirty, you have another one to put on right away. Don't think you can go wrong with this product. Unless your pup is a real chewer!
