Was there a slight chemical plastic smell? This is pretty normal for this type of material when it arrived, but the smell actually dissipated quickly and the case itself isn't causing any problems. The mesh pocket is large enough to carry my Switch charger, DS and XL 3DS/DSi charger with enough space and the Switch and games on it. It's amazing, great size, especially when I travel I like to bring options for my games. Perhaps a pair of spare headphones and a lip balm or something could be carried, or a professional controller and additional cons (at the same time!). It seriously fits that much while maintaining the perfect portable size. Perhaps you could squeeze it into a hooded pocket if needed. The look is very charming, it's just what I wanted. The ears can act as a stand if you're playing with a pro controller and want to lower the screen. The material feels soft, smooth and durable. It also comes with a small loop handle that you can attach and the case has metal loops on either end so you can attach a small shoulder strap or key fob if needed. I liked it, but it took up a lot of space and wasn't suitable for packing when traveling. I really like it but I'm glad I tried this one because it's much better as a carrying case between the two and I'll probably just use the old case for storage and this cat case as my regular case. I just love it so glad I have it and it works so well.
