Before ordering these glasses, I tried several 4 ounce square glass glasses. The screen covers on them just didn't work for me. These jars are very light, completely clear and appear to be of really great quality. Hinged lids are the best! You don't have to take the lid off to measure out the amount of spices, and the holes on the side of the shaker are big enough to let dried herbs through if you just want to sprinkle. The 7 ounce size is great. Not too big but allows you to refuel less often. I was able to fit 24 of these jars into my new YouCopia Spice Organizer and used my DYMO to label the jars and organizer drawers. This is the solution I was looking for! Love it!
