Once upon a time, when my eyes were younger and I didn't have children, I used to do counted cross stitches. I've done big jobs that took months. Now I have no time, no sight, no focus (it would be very hard to rely on an 18 count Hades cloth when people are constantly teasing me with milk or snacks). I'm a little stick addicted but definitely need some practice. Since my son is interested in succulents and cacti I thought this would be a great set to try. I reached for it without really looking at what I got. I'm so impressed! For a very reasonable price you get 3 complete sets: frames, threads, instructions, needles, even thread cutters. That means you can keep one and give away 2. Astonishing! I love how easy the instructions are and feel like this is the kind of project that can help me get started and more importantly even with two kids doing distance learning, 75% of the Time in addition to my own work and other responsibilities that I feel I can handle. Even if I can only spend 5 minutes a night, that's fine. I'm very excited. Maybe I have a hobby again!
