Review on HOMEST Sewing Machine Carrying Case: Universal Tote Bag with Shoulder Strap for Most Standard Singer, Brother, Janome, Ripple Models by Amanda Kathol

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Very roomy bag but needs better support for the weight of the car

Pro - fits my old Kenmore with enough space. The fabric can be wiped clean. The zipper opening is wide and you can easily pick up and take out the machine. Although the outer pocket is flat, it is large. Lots of padding on the sides to protect the car from accidental bumps. Even though the fabric is designed to protect the machine, seam problems can develop over time. No support for the bottom of the bag for the weight of the machine. Yes I know I bought a hard bottom bag but even with a hard bottom there is no relaxation at the seams. There are handles, yes, but the weight of the machine comes from the fabric and stitching. These machines are usually not light. All of the stress will be on the seams/edges of the fabric and although well stitched I see them tearing over time. Especially if you use it a lot.

Pros
  • Delivery was very quick
Cons
  • Crumpled
