Charger with adapter appears to be made of quality material and connects well. I would like the plug to the USB port to have a protective cover to better protect it from the elements. White is suitable for most situations but I would like to go with the black option for some placements as I plan on buying 1 or 2 more of these. The connector connects well to the camera and looks like a good seal. It's a bit chilly right now to get the cord right and my Christmas light cords on my porch are fine. Let's see how well this holds up in winter and summer weather conditions and we'll update if there are any issues. I would give 5 stars if there was a black variant and the USB power adapter had a more weatherproof connector.
