Transparent, comfortable and tangle-resistant. I highly recommend it. I've been an audiophile for 46 years and think this is a good deal. I have one of the best sound devices and I understand that these headphones are not the best. What I really understand is that this is all I need for daily radio listening. The sound is clear, with pronounced low and high frequencies. They don't have harsh bass or the angelic whisper of high notes you get from more expensive headphones. I don't expect it. Nobody should. I am delighted and would buy them again. I recommend them for everyday use. Digital radio and music are so lacking in overtones and musical depth that expensive headphones just aren't necessary in my opinion.
