Good news: It works. I was fed up with removing the fan clutch and there were a lot of metal shavings on it, so I decided to "upgrade" instead of installing a new fan clutch. I thought this has a better rating than more expensive fans. Anyway, the quality looks very good. The plastics appear to be the same as those used by "premium" manufacturers (e.g. Behr Hella). The fan works perfectly and quietly. I removed the sprocket because on the small timing box cover - mine - the bolts were not fully tightened (I mean two were more than half out). Anyway, that doesn't bode well for the quality department, but at $95, who cares. I would definitely pay $230 for a Behr fan but Behr parts are very expensive to me so let's try this Chinese fan, it might be ok and at least as long as it seems good.
