Review on 🔵 Carl Mfg Rotary Trimmer, 12" Cutting Length, 10.25" x 12" x 0.75", Grey (CUI12200), Blue-Grey by Summer Hendricks

First of all I had a higher end Carl Cutter for many years and was happy with it. I don't see the same model for sale right now, but my model had a locking bar and magnetic guide and was fine for precision cutting. I was traveling and needed a better paper cutter than mine so I had no hesitation in ordering another Carl. But this one is average at best. If you have to cut a piece of paper, forget it. . . You cut the edge and then the blade goes over the edge of thick paper/cardboard instead of cutting it. Also, it is not always easy to get a right-angled cut because there is no guide on the right side of the blade, allowing the paper to move slightly - just enough not to be perfect. I would return it if I hadn't already opened and tried it. Don't color me impressed. . .
