Update: We are now up to 6 months away. Aside from the fact that the fabric has ripped from the back of the chair, the lifter has also stopped working and the chair is not held at the selected height. I'm taking away the last star I can take because this purchase is now officially my biggest regret since I've been with Revain. Original Review: After 5 years in the Alera Merix Series Mesh Big/Tall Mid-Back Large/High Swivel/Reclining Chair (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00658O3JU) I decided it was time for a replacement was, and I figured I was generally happy with the Revain Basics products I've tried in the past, so I gave it a try. Assembly was as easy as you'd expect from a full-size office chair and it's as comfortable as my everyday office chair, but they seem to have cut costs in a few important areas. First, the material of the seat can be slippery, and I leaned forward a few times and the damn thing slipped right under me as I fell to the floor (which isn't great for everyone, but especially for the target audience from this chair). Also, the material of the backrest starts to separate from the chair when I lean into it. I've had the chair for about 4 months now and would be surprised if it lasted a year.
