I ordered this in early June to fix a lack of usable ports on a MacPro. It arrived quickly and I plugged it into two USB-C ports with no problem, making it very secure. The charging port worked fine, but when I tried to use the SD card slot and USB ports, my SD card would not be read and the Western Digital drives would spin but not mount. I then tested the G-Tech USB-C drive and it didn't work in the second USB-C port, but it did work with one of the USB-C ports on the other side. Meanwhile, CharJenPro sent me a personalized message asking about my experience with the product. I wrote back with details of my experience and received a quick reply from Cindy Y. With the information I had sent as described, she determined that I needed a replacement which she sent promptly. Shipped from Los Angeles on Friday, it arrived in Washington on Monday. They provided a return label for the non-working MacSTICK, which I sent back just as quickly. The new MacStick is great. All ports work. I have tested it for the last 24 hours and the device is exactly as advertised. SD loading is fast, all old drives work through old USB ports, and the loading port is fine. USB ports for older devices are cramped, so I have to be careful not to pull the whole device out when it's not plugged in, but I'd rather have that situation than ports that don't hold the connector. I'm glad I started at a problem-solving company. They were quick, responsive and the follow up was great. I couldn't ask for better service. I like the fact that MacStick gives me the flexibility I need without having to worry about keys lying around. I can use it on the plane and practice building a MacPro just like my old laptops with the necessary ports. Thank you CharJenPro - great product and service.
