My cat has been eating cheap meow mix for years and is trying to make it better. I bought him Blue Buffalo dry food and within a few months he had to have surgery to remove the crystals that had formed in his stomach, thousands of dollars in vet bills and several days at the vet hospital - that's what this decision cost me and him almost didn't die.
