Update 03/2021: No problem with the hood! The filter tilts slightly. It looks great with my updated body and all the bronze details accenting the black hood! See updated photo! First review: I am renting an apartment and I don't want to spend a lot of money on renovating the kitchen; The old fan cowl was biscuit walnut and I hated it. I originally wanted stainless steel but settled on black and I'm glad I did. The hood comes with just a cover and 4 screws - I just used everything from the hood I replaced. Installation was very easy (after watching a few YouTube videos) and I'm a female. All I needed was an extra hand to hold the band in place while I screwed/fastened it, which took no more than 30 minutes. I made sure to turn off the main switch before disassembling/assembling - connecting the ground, black and white wires was easy. I think it depends on the settings you have or want.
