This lighter has worked flawlessly for a year on and off. However, one day it simply stopped emitting gas. I've tried getting all the air out, letting all the gas through the filler neck, etc. Nothing. So I decided to use MacGyver on this thing and took it apart. In the images below you can see that the lever that releases gas when the trigger is pulled has disengaged from the switch. (Picture 1) All I had to do was move the lever under the shift gate and reassemble and everything was back to normal. (pic 2) Be careful when disassembling. The pin holding the rocker switch that presses down on the igniter can come loose and be very difficult to put back in, so be very careful when handling it disassembled.
