I read that someone mentioned that you have to file the eye in order for it to be used properly. I hoped this didn't happen to me. Unfortunately, I had the same problem with one of the two needles. I felt it every time I tried to pull the needle out, it snagged and felt rough so I decided to switch to a second needle and it slides through each hole so easily. I may have to submit another one to see if that helps, but for the price of a needle you don't have to, hence my 4 star rating. Aside from that, these needles have made my life so much easier and I don't have to worry,
