Indirectly and insufficiently hardened - Torx heads complete the job under heavy use

I use them to drive construction screws with hexagon sockets into solid oak wood. The shafts on most of these bits are slightly curved, causing the shaft to wobble as it turns. After tightening a few dozen screws, the torx head's shoulders round off, ultimately rendering the racquet useless. I could try grinding the tip to restore it, but that is time consuming and would be unnecessary if the tips were properly hardened. Look for an alternative when it's time to buy back.
