dog bed inside very soft and fluffy. I am size XL and it fits my 50lb black labrador perfectly. She accepted it immediately. The bed arrived upside down which confused us for a few seconds; The furry side goes in, the black side goes on the floor. It fits nicely in our dog crate and looks pretty enough to be left standing as 'furniture'. I like the outer herringbone pattern and that it has some structure that keeps it upright. Much more functional than the lay flat beanbag my daughter stole from my dog. However, despite its rectangular shape, it is still quite flexible and has a crease in the middle of the bed.
