Pros and cons Best of Headsets

This review is for a refurbished headset. I drive a dump truck. My previous headset was one of those little over ear headphones, it didn't have any noise canceling issues but it's dated and when I stepped back just a few feet I started losing the signal so I decided to replace it with this one to replace what is pretty good. This is now the default headset brand for most drivers. On the first call my friend noticed something was scratching in the background, turns out that AC vent is blowing straight onto the mic - that's easy to fix, but I was a little annoyed that a noise-cancelling headset is designed to be successful in such conditions. I had problems with the air conditioning when all my windows were up, I was parked and there was no other noise in the background, not even the CB and stereo were off. My previous small earbud didn't have this problem. My second issue is comfort, I wear prescription sunglasses and this headset puts so much pressure on my ear area that my ear still hurts after wearing the combination all week. During the day I mostly find it easier to take it off and rest my ear when I'm not using it, leading to one hell of a situation where an important call comes in while my hands are busy driving - not the safest of scenarios. But since this is my first Bluetooth overhead, I guess I'll have to get used to it. The battery life is excellent, I have no problem talking about it for hours and I do it almost every day as I have a group of friends that I use Bluetooth on most of the day while we drive just to check the time expel. The range on this one is slightly better than my previous one. When I got right behind the truck and checked the back door, it got a little static, but I attribute that to the amount of metal between me and my phone, which was in the cab. Everyone said I would buy this headset again and probably buy a newer model when this wears out. However, be aware that if you wear glasses, you might have trouble wearing both comfortably.
