I took my waist measurement and was right above the range for the 2X. The fit is honestly perfect in the waist, though a bit more fullness in the hips wouldn't go amiss.I love the lightweight fabric and the length. I wear it to dance practice and the movement is awesome, to the point that I received several compliments the last time I wore it.My only complaint is in the construction. The very first time I wore it, I was trying to adjust my tucked-in shirt and the zipper busted open. I've tugged a lot harder on skirts that fit a lot tighter without having to worry about fragile zippers. I have to assume the materials are just cheap, which, is kind of disappointing given the price.That said, I'll probably order another just because it's so perfect for my needs.
