Review on 🎒 Thule Covert DSLR Backpack 24L: Black, Reliable & Versatile One-Size Backpack by Alif Wills

I know Thule as a manufacturer of outdoor equipment. I have a positive impression of the company having seen their products being used by avid outdoor enthusiasts. When I found out they make backpacks I was intrigued. I try to rate products on merits only, without regard to price. However, I have to say that this backpack is very expensive. The quality of the materials is high. The subtle fabric is stiff and dense. There are also multiple layers, as opposed to cheaper backpacks that have a single layer of material. Not surprisingly, the inside of the material looks like it's been treated with a weatherproof seal. The only drawback is that there are no instructions included. The backpack does not require any special knowledge, but it would be nice to understand its functions and know all the functions. There are many. There were a few hints in the feature list, but a lot of things I had to figure out on my own. The padding near the back is thicker and stiffer than most backpacks I'm used to. In fact, I've never owned a high-end backpack, so the padding on the back was either minimal or non-existent. The lower back is thicker, as if designed to arch the lower back. It's thicker primarily because it serves as a pocket that completely covers the buckled waist belt, hiding it and out of the way when you're not using it. If it's designed that way, it's pretty smart. The zippers appear to have a high number of teeth per inch, resulting in better performance and durability in my opinion. The high teeth per inch also likely reduce the likelihood of a zipper getting stuck or coming loose. The zip at the top of the pack has hard tabs at the ends that you can pull on when unzipping the ends. I love the attention to detail and this is an example. There are spacious pockets, mesh and others, of various shapes and sizes. Some models are made to order, for example for laptops and tablets. A unique feature is that inside the main pocket there is a small shoulder bag with its own strap. It is not only in the main pocket, but can also be integrated into it. Similar to the Transformer, once inside the main bag, the smaller bag integrates in a way that serves a different function. The "doors" of the smaller bag connect to the side "doors" on either side of the main bag. Zippered doors on the lower left and right of the main bag open to compartments in the smaller bag. You have to see it for yourself to really understand it. It's original and very smart. I travel a lot with my photography gear, so I prefer a backpack that fits a mini/compact tripod. I don't know if this backpack was designed to carry compact tripods, but there are sturdy pockets on the bottom left and right that are perfect for the legs or head of a small tripod. And just above those pockets are straps that seemingly have no purpose other than to hold the tripod upright. Some backpacks can hold the tripod horizontally on the bottom but I think the vertical position is better and there are TWO of them on this backpack. Oh yeah! There are pockets of different sizes and types (mesh/non-mesh), additional configurations (a mini pocket that can be integrated into or removed from the main pocket) and small tweaks (loop straps for attaching clips or carabiners). . The quality of materials including fabric, zippers, straps, cords, etc. is top notch. The design is smart and well thought out. The overall performance in terms of manufacturing and even packaging is second to none. This backpack is designed and built to carry, protect and organize your belongings while keeping ergonomics in mind. The main shoulder straps have an additional sternum strap that keeps the pack securely on your back instead of dangling. Great when climbing over rough terrain. You can also go all out and use the normally hidden hip belt for maximum stability. There is nothing about this backpack that I don't like and/or admire. except maybe the price. But in life you generally get what you pay for and in my opinion this backpack shines where others fail.
