It was easy to set up and get started. A much more stable connection than when operating over Wi-Fi, but if you need it for speed it may or may not work better. It gave me about half the download speed compared to my standard WiFi, the download speed was only slightly slower. Which in and of itself isn't a deal breaker, it just means I should turn the wired connection on when stability is important and turn it off when trying to download something. Performance is said to be affected by the quality of your electrical wiring, so I'm not sure that played a role. But my house is about 8 years old so I hope there will be no problems.
