Advantages: very easy to stick. clear directions. Cons: We love our medium rare steak. With a thermometer it was closer to average. Because we roasted with the lid closed, we often had to open the lid to check the color of the thermometer. If we were grilling with the lid open, a thermometer would come in very handy. It's also very expensive to have more than one to cook different steaks with different degrees of doneness.
