Quality replacement hob. I exchanged jacuzzi which was a piece of junk. The only caveat I would like to place is that the under burner cabinet on this GE cooktop is quite slim and its glass edge above the countertop line is very narrow on all sides. So if you're replacing a cooktop that's a little bulkier at the bottom, there's a good chance that even if the finished hole seems to fit, you'll have to buy the $100 trim GE sells separately because of the edges of that unit on the counter are minimal. That extra $100 makes this device less of a steal. Again, great hob, just make sure the size of the hole is very close to the size of the appliance body.
