Installed on a '78 F-600 water carrier. The 24" should cover pretty much anything with duals. I had to snip an inch off the top. This is easy to do with a table saw, but a handheld chop saw will work too. Then use a utility knife or carpet cutter to cut an inch or two thickened perimeter so the mounting pad is flush with the top. Two pieces of 1" x 1/8" x 24" zinc plated steel (on 18") made from clamp bar building materials. Four 5/16" Nylock bolts on each side complete a good installation. These fenders are the right shape. very reliable and easy to adapt to your needs. Although my truck has an "SE" license plate in California, it can still be used on public roads. Also, the flaps look damn good and protect the pony pump. Some states do NOT have fender installation laws, but most do. The most common is . from the back of the footprint tire pad, 22 degrees tangent to the bottom of the flap. Common sense tells you that the level should not be too low or too high to be effective. Water carriers differ slightly in that the loaded and unloaded frame heights (hence the wing) can vary more than most due to large load changes during operation. Mine are 6 inches off the ground when fully loaded. I recommend this product. Don't be intimidated by the 24 inch length. they can easily be modified as described above. In some states, a well-known chrome woman or cartoon character is 100% illegal. just a mention since you're "in the market" so to speak.
