I got the Nav730 for my wife as a Christmas present but I use it as much as she does. The first device died after just a few weeks (no other satellites caught), but after the replacement we had no problems. Text-to-speech was a huge benefit and works great, but it's a shame that only one voice supports this feature. The 3.5-inch screen is small, but it's enough. The display is bright and crisp, and unlike another review, it automatically changes colors from day to night when you choose this setting. Settings like this if you don't use it for a long time. I've used this unit in California, Nevada, Maryland, Virginia, and Pennsylvania and the maps were pretty accurate everywhere. I came across a couple of places where he thought the roads were open but they weren't, but I can't tell how long they were closed to estimate the mapping software date. Time to read the digital manual and all is well. I don't have much experience with other devices, but this is very good for us.
